The Historic Weis Mansion B&B

Show Contact Information +
We are a full service Victorian bed and breakfast near downtown Waterloo Iowa and only a couple blocks from the Grout Museum district. The Henry Weis house was built in 1900-1902 for Henry Weis- a local businessman who invented egg packaging to transport eggs on the rails. The home is on the historic registry and has at least 9 types of old world wood used throughout. We have beautiful stained glass windows, grand staircase, wood parquet floors, and pocket doors. The B&B was previously run as the Wellington Place B&B. Chris and Kelly Schmitz procured the home in 2022. We partner with local business for great add-ons including in- suite massages and flowers fresh from the flower shop. We also rent space for small gatherings and host immersive Murder Mysteries and are planning a small convention right before Halloween of 2024. Sign up for our newsletter on the website for updates on events. Book directly through our website or by phone for best service and rates.
