The Weis Mansion B&B

Show Contact Information +
We are a full service Victorian bed and breakfast near downtown Waterloo Iowa and only a couple blocks from the Grout Museum district. The Henry Weis house was built in 1900-1902 for Henry Weis- a local businessman who invented egg packaging to transport eggs on the rails. The home is on the historic registry and has at least 7 types of old world wood used throughout. The B&B was previously run as the Wellington Inn/Wellington Place B&B. Chris and Kelly Schmitz procured the home in 2022. We partner with local business for great add-ons including in suite massages and flowers fresh from the flower shop. We also rent space for small gatherings and host immersive Murder Mysteries for groups of 6-18 people.
