Veteran's Park

Veterans Park is located near the intersection of Highway 18 and Highway 169. The park is a great picnic spot and play space for families. One special feature is the track for radio-controlled race cars, and races are hosted at the track every year. The enclosed shelter house can be reserved online through the City of Algona and is a popular spot for family gatherings, company picnics and many other events. Previously called North Park, this 20-acre park offers an enclosed shelter house for rent, restrooms, open picnic shelters, playground equipment, 3 ball diamonds, basketball court, 3 sand volleyball courts, river access, rugby field and an enclosed dog park.
